Disable FPN and integration of BW / BI ; what to do?

Hi experts,

One of my clients wants to get rid of the Federated Portal Network. Top reason is the maintenance on the Producer Portal. They have XSS scenarios in the Consumer Portal (7.01 sp10) and a BI Producer Portal (7.01 sp10). I read that there are 3 options for BEx Web Application integration. Two of them (Application Integrator and FPN) make use of FPN, am I right? The third option could be, making use of the old iview template BEx Web Application for 3.x. And probably a fourth option could be a URL iView.

What's the best option?

Hi Leurs,

The best option is to use AI.

If you will use URL iView, you will not have the session termination framework.
