Activation of datasource in SBIW

Hi experts

I have activated the datasource 0TCTATYPE_TEXT in development system.

This object has not been assigned to a transport order.

In development system this object is in both object version available: A and D.

In test system only object version D is available.

Any ideas what's wrong?

I assume you generated this in development class or package (as they call it these days) $TMP

you can change it as follows:

1. open your DataSource (via RSA1)
2. follow menu path: Extras > Object Directory Entry
3. click Display/Change (or F6)
4. change $TMP to a valid (transportable) package
5. hit the green tick

you'll either have to assign a transport request then or create a new one

You were right.

In ERP development system, place cursor on datasource in SBIW, thereafter click on "object catalog" for datasource and changed it to the valid package.
