I was trying to output graphics using specification symbol but it looks to me that phrase code is necessary for the output. How do we determine which phrase code should be used for which graphics for output .
your findings are not correct. Phrase code, text, graphic, remark are independent objects. You must specify for phrase a "text" (it is mandatory) but you don't need code and still can use graphic and you can display graphic in WWI.
