Import from SAP Business Suite

I want to use the feature in PowerDesigner v16.5 to import data from the SAP Business Suite.  Does this require a database level logon and pw or would I be using my SAP login and pw?  My BASIS admin says he won't establish a database level logon as that is against our company's best practices.  If a database login is required, is there a standard account that SAP recommends using?

Any other tips and tricks would be welcome as well.

Unfortunately, No Answers. I have same problem. But Here It has been granted privileges to DBA and ALL tables ( Oracle metadata) in database. Nothing happened . I think It has other privileges to grant.

Hello Bill,

Yes you need database level logon.

Just use SAPSR3, which is the schema owner of all tables of SAP BS in the database.
