Hi experts,
I would like to set a BEx Query-Security Setting for a WebTemplate.
In the Role Authorizations I´ve set the specific Query (ZICR_MO01_Q003) and the necessary InfoProvider which I would like to secure:
If I try to execute the WebTemplate (with about 8 other Queries), the following Error Message occurs:
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance and Best regards,
Michael
Hi all,
I´ve tested my scenario again with a complete new small Test WebTemplate (3 Queries: Q003, Q004, Q005).
Scnario 1:
Queries Q003 AND Q005 to secure:
The same Error Message as in my productive scenario:
Scenario 2:
Queries Q004 TO Q005 to secure:
I´m able to execute the WebTemplate correctly with the correct no authorization for Query Q003
Any ideas?
Thanks and regards,
Michael

Hi,
the following Query security scenarios works fine:
Q003 - Q005
Q004 - Q005
Q003, Q004
Q004, Q005
Q003, Q004, Q005
the following Query security scenario doesn´t work:
Q003, Q005
It seems, as the Error Message occurs if the Intervall is not sequential. e.g. Q003 AND Q005 (without Q004).
Any experiences or ideas?
Thanks and regards,
Michael
I've never tried to secure a Web Template but there is an authorization object involved: S_RS_BTMP - SAP Solution Manager - Security and Authorizations - SCN Wiki
I usually add the option "03 = Display" to the Activity in S_RS_COMP object.
Do the 8 queries in the template execute ok?
You could also try authorization analysis with transaction RSECADMIN.

Miguel

Hi Miguel,
thanks for your reply!
I would like to secure the Query which is used in the WebTemplate. Not to secure the WebTemplate.
The problem is, if I add the Query in the role, I cannot exceute the complete WebTemplate. Is there no Query security in the role, the run of the WebTemplate works fine.
My problem is, why it comes to the Message:
WARNING BRAIN (800): You do not have the authorization for component ZI...
Best regards,
Michael
