I have a problem where a very large master data object is indexed onto BWA. It appears that whenever a user selects the F4 Help for this master data object that the BWA blade that the query is running on runs out of memory and the blade needs to be restarted. Is there a specific master data index for F4 Help and can I remove just that specifc index from BWA to prevent further BWA blade outages? (I need to keep the master data object on BWA)
Thanks,
Mike
I found the answer and will answer my own question. If you go to RSD1 for the master data object, and go to teh BWA index tab, then click the Maintain BW Accelerator Index button, then click on the Edit button, then go to the BWA Index Settings tab, you will see a "BWA Index for Queries" radio buttons. Choose the Inactive button. This will prevent any F4 Help on that master data object from hitting BWA.
