Colorado Withholding Tax

Hi All

I am trying to create IT0210 for Authority CO (Colorado) and the system shows me a default screen where I can't change the filing status.

Also, when I try to create IT0210 through the subtype, I do not see Authority CO in the list of SUbtypes, though it does exist is T5UTZ and also in T5UTK.

Am I missing something here?

Please help!

Is it happening because, Colorado does not have a state equivalent of the federal form W-4? Will FED alone do for Colorado employees?

Ok... now here is what I notice, table V_5UTZ_C that has the W4 Indicator for Tax Authorities, shows CO with a value '3 - Not allowed for state (exemption on a separate form): The filing status from the federal authority is used; state exemptions require a separate form'

So this could be the reason why I do not see CO in the Subtype, am I right?

Is V_5UTZ_C updated by TUBs?

How do we know what are the tables maintained manually and those updated by TUBs or Taxfactory?
