we are facing the issue with contact person while creating the order in crm. the mapping is maintained correctly but still we get the issue. when we delete the contact person and re enter the error message is gone. can you please suggest.

Hi Sai,

the customizing are already maintained. and the contact person is not deleted. when we get the error fpr few transactions once we delete the contact person from the transaction and renter the same contact person the error goes. This steps has to be done manually whenever we face the issue.

Please che ck in Crm

spro-->crm-->basic function-->pafrtner processing-->data distribution-->mapping partner fucntions inR/3-->maintain  Ap(knvk) for the contact person partner fucntion in CRM.

If a business partner has been deleted but is still in use in sales, contracts or service transactions above errors

will still be populated as the function module crm_order_maintain.

If these are live order/ contracts then the contact person should either be removed from the

document before you delete the masterdata or else you should not delete the partner.

Also try impleneting the instuctions in Note:633763.
