Is anyone familiar with this error output when checking in a logical model?  Everything has been working fine for a few months.  This just started today.

............................

Checking in the document 'Y:\My Documents\PowerDesigner\Production\Enterprise Logical Model.ldm'

- Checking out the repository document 'Enterprise Logical Model'...

- Comparing the local model with the repository model...

- Updating the repository document...

Some errors occur during the update of the repository model.

Unexpected error while executing the following action:

Changing value of attribute Modification Date of object Sub-Replication

The check in of the document has been cancelled.

can you check in the model as baseline?

I know that there was an issue with Reischmann Toolbus and circular dependencies causing such an issues. Did you use it?

Hi Stefan -

Thanks for the reply!

Checking in as a baseline will reset the version number to 0, is that correct?  What other impact does it have?

We did in fact use Reischmann Toolbus to import models from Oracle Designer.  Is there more information available regarding the circular dependency issue you mentioned?

Hi,

no it will not set the version to 0. It will increase the version just like a normal check in.

A similar issue was reported to our support and it turns out that there is an issue with the toolsbus software which creates circular dependencies between two models.

It was resolved by moving all objects into one model and fix / remove the wrong dependencies.
