While Downloading JPG files from BSP its getting saved in wrong file type.

Hi SCN

Through standard transaction IW52 I am uploading a PDF and JPG image file through SAP GUI, both are uploading successfully and I can successfully view/download them from SAP GUI.

Whereas when I open the same document on BSP page I can successfully save PDF file, but when I try to save JPG its saving in wrong file type instead of .JPG , though when I right click on that file and try to open with window photo viewer its opining.

Somewhere many years ago (one decade maybe?) I wrote a block about downloading files within BSP pages. I would recommend reading it. Suspect you must set mimetype correctly and also the file extension (there is a way to do it, see blog).
