clarifications on authorizations

Hi ,

For addressing a requirement on authorization , request advice for the below points :

1. When an user tries to view the cost details updated in the process order - do he need CK13N transaction authorization for getting them seen?

2. For an user to execute CK11N / CK13N - will it internally call for BOM or Master Recipe like CS03 /C203 and any other codes  as it pulls data from BOM and Recipe ? meaning when we are giving authorization for a person  for CK13N /CK11N - do we need to give authorization for CS03 or any other BOM relevant /recipe  transactions authorizations?

Hi Madhu,

For you first question, I don't think you need access to CK13N to see the Process Order cost details.

For the second, in a business perspective, a cost analyst person will need to have access to see production master data, material master data, procurement master data, etc. So in my expierience I never see one user with CK11N and no access to display BOMs.

You can ask for singles test roles and check this in your development system. It is a simple test.
