Open Text Add on confilct during EHP7 uprade.

Hi Team,

We are in the middle of EHP7 upgrade during the Configuration Roadmap
Phase PREP_EXTENSION/IS_SELECT in SUM.
We are getting error when we choose to KEEP the version for add-on
OTEXVIM in next screen it gives the below details.

"For the following Add-on component(s) the KEEP YOURS decision is not
longer valid, since at least for one of the base components an Add-on
upgrade has been included:
ADDON-ID Changed base component
OTEXVIM SAP_BASIS
You need to change the decision of the above Add-on(s)"

In the Next screen it gives the below 3 options for the decision.

1 Upgrade the add-on with SAINT package
2 Keep the add-on with current version. Use only if supported by the
add-on vendor.
3 Delete the add-on with SAINT package actively.

Let us know which version add-on is compatible with EHP7 please provide
us the details so that we upgrade the add-on.

For second option it asking for the Vendor Key for KEEP decision let us know the vendor key.

Your help is highly appreciated in this regards.

I am attaching the screens of SUM let me know if you need more details

As per SAP note 1920804 - SAP Invoice Management by OpenText support for EhP7/financials add-on for SAP Business Sui...

You need to keep the add-on and supply the vendor key.

Hi All,

The Pre Requisite for EHP7 is the OTEXVIM 6.0 should be on SP7. Upgrade the add-on and re- triggered the upgrade from start including the generation of nex xml and in this phase selected the option of Keep the addon and provided the vendor key.

Resolved the issue.
