Batch Number Range

Dear All,

I am executing a test case where we are testing a neative scenario in which we need to enter a batch number which is present outside the number ranges assigned for the batches. I tried googling to find where the batch ranges are assigned and got the following TCodes -  SNUM, OMAD, Object Type - Batch_Clt.

However, even if i enter a batch number which is outside the range mentioned in the object above it is accepted.

Please help me with where are the batch ranges assigned, does the batch number range depend upon the Material/Plant combination or any other factor.

Thank you for your reply.

In SNRO, we need to enter an Object to display the range. The Object that i got relating to Batch was

Batch_CLT and Batch_MAT.

however, i am still able to enter a batch number which is present outside the ranges mentioned in the batch ojects above.
