DMS Custom object link for Inspection lot

Hi Experts,

I need to add inspection lot (QALS)  object  into DMS object links list on DC10. Is there any pre requisites to follow  for inspection lot object linking into DMS.

Am agree with your comments. Before posting this query found SNOTE (0001741024) and  tells that I need to implement as a pre requisites to add object links for inspection lot . IS it mandatory? or else can I ask abaper to work by copying existing function Module 'Object_Check_EQUI '

Hi,

Do following steps to activate DMS link with Inspection lot:

1. Activate the function using the relevant indicator in Customizing under "Quality Management -> Basic

Settings -> Maintain Settings at Client Level".

2.In Customizing for document management under "Control data -> Define Document Types", define at least one document type that allows the assignment of inspection lots (object QALS and Screen 500).

Create document and check.

Go to SPRO > Quality Management  > Basic Settings -> Maintain Settings at Client Level

Then active the link under "Further Settings"

Quality Inspection

Document Link to Insp. Lot

(Tick Mark)

Save it and check.

Unable to reach " further Settings " in my sap screen. Please where is exactly located .

Is it post processing step after done customisation  from existed functional module ?

Hi Tilak,

Thanks a lot. Those things are existed on EHP7 but not in EHP 6. QALS is a part of DMS standard object links functionalities.

Let me try with customisation for QALS.

SAP help provides a starting place for adding new objects. We've done it a few times, and as long as you have a decent ABAP'er with you, it will take a lot of time.
