Hi colleagues,
I have an error while posting in one depreciation area.
Choose transaction type and base value appropriate for asset values
Message no. AA590
The interesting thing is that if I will retire not with amount, but with percentage rate (e.g.50%), everything works fine .
Any ideas
Thanks in advance!
Colleagues,
I've made no changes, but when tried to post this just now - no error appeared.
I don't know what happened, but if it'll clear up, I'll write here.
Thanks for your time.

Hello,
When posting a complete retirement or a complete transfer previous
year and current year values are dismissed. So in order for the
system to be able to manage this (even if the asset has just current
year values) it is necessary to indicate both t.types (current year
and previous year.
How is this done?
Why do I have to indicate the previous year t.type?
This is done through the previous year t.type because it is in this
transaction type where I indicate also the current year t.type
and not vice versa.
This is why if I am doing a complete retirement and I indicate
directly a t.type for current years I get error AA590.
To be able to use direclty current year t.type I have to make a partial
retirement in which I indicate that the retirement refers only to
current year values.
thanks and regards
Ray
Hi,
Can you please tell that which Transaction type you are using. As I think it may be possible that the asset is of previous year and you are choosing the transaction type of retirment of current year acquisition?
