Restriction of Creation and Change of one Order type for user.

Dear All,

I am having an issue that how to restrict the user's for creating and changing of only one order type. We have one Order which can access by user department remaining all other type maintenance is having access.

I am trying to make the restriction through authorization but unable to do so. Can anyone guide me how to achieve this,

Hi , Create separate role with authorization types I_AUART & I_BETRVORG maintained and assign it to users you want to give access it will work.

Hi Bhanu,

Its good, if you have defined the departments in planner groups, then you can maintained authroization for planner group and work order type.

On the other hand, how you differentiate different departments in your system ?

If the standard authorisations don't work, then you will need to develop a solution, possibly via:

• BADI: INST_AUTHORITY_CHECK (SE18)
• BADI: IWO1_ORDER_BADI~AUTHORITY_CHECK_AUART_ACTIVIT
