Problems with verification of Execution system

Hi, everyone!

We are new with TDMS. We have started configuring it a week ago.

The problem is following,  we have to do a Stand-alone Scrambling.

RFC connection, system Landscape, Project template, Project and Package were created. But the activities doesn’t execute. Please see screenshots

If I try to execute “Verification of Execution System” – nothing happens and the next activity cannot be executed

Could you please advise us, what can be a reason in this case and how this can be solved?

Hello Alexander,

Standalone scrambling requires RFC user as the dialog user type. Please check your RFC user type and also check for any authorization issues in SU53.

at first thank you for your feedback. I am working in the same project like Alexander.

During analyzing I have found this information:

As recommended by SAP, the following  must be considered:

• 1x Dialog User for TDMS User in each system

Role „SAP_TDMS_MASTER_CR“ + Basis-Authorizations for transactions ST22, SM21, SM50, SM37, SE16(n), SM30, SU01d, SA38, DB02

• 1x Service User for TDMS RFC User in each system

Role SAP_TDMS_RFC_USER_700_CR

The analysis showed, that for dialog user in receiver system is not assigned the role „ SAP_TDMS_RFC_USER_700_CR”.

Is that correct? What do you think about this argument?

Yes you need to assign this role to RFc user in receiver system as well.

• 1x Service User for TDMS RFC User in each system

Note: Stand-alone scrambling requires an RFC user as the dialog user type.

And now I want to show you my roles and authorizations in TDMS and Execution system:

My request to you:

Do we need for RFC User a dialog user type or a service user type?

Is it enough when we assign for dialog users in both systems the role "SAP_TDMS_MASTER" in place of "SAP_TDMS_MASTER_CR"?

Hello llkin,

RFC user should be of type dialog. You need to assign role SAP_TDMS_MASTER_CR as it contains all the necessary roles required for scrambling also. Note that all systems involved in TDMS landscape should be on same support pack level of TDMS.

the RFC user has dialog typ. The role SAP_TDMS_MASTER_CR is assigned. The systems have the same SP.

But we have the same problem with the activity "Verification of execution system"

What else can I do else?

Make sure that profiles are generated for the roles. Do you see any issue  in SU53 ???

Hi Ilkin,

This activity should execute job CNV_MBT_CNV_TDMS_SRC_CHECK_PROD_SYST in your execution system, can you see it in SM37?

Maybe it is a problem with releasing the jobs (just an idea).

As Anita said, you should verify SU53 for any authorization issue and also job logs for errors.
