Concurrent Assignment in ESS

Hi,

A user is on International Assignment from Geramany to any other country and logs in to his ESS where his user id is linked to current host country.

Once he logs in and clicks any of the services like Personal Data, Addresses, Bank Details etc. the Global Employment screen is displayed with radio buttons for HOME and HOST Countries.

On clicking Host Country, the data for the host country is displayed.

However, Clicking on HOME country(DE) to check his Addresses or Bank details, the host country details are displayed instead of Home Country details. It  looks to be specific for assignmnets from DE to other countries and does not seem to be an issue with other international assignments.

Did any one encounter similar issue. Request Inputs on the same. Thank you.

which version of ESS you are on? Can you share your screens? ideally you can switch between different assignments check V_T7XSSCE_GRP? steps  are done per note 1118801    ESS CE/GE Important configuration steps

Hi Siddharth,

we are on EHP6 currently. a user is on IA from DE to any other country and his userid from IT105 is active only for host assignment.

so when this user logs in to Portal and clicks any service like addresses, he gets a popup with two assignemnts home , host. selecting host would give the host details but clicking home assignment also shows host details.

V_T7XSSCE_GRP is also maintained correctly. as mentioned this is observed only in case of IA from DE to other countries and not in other.

for both the working and non working one, Please do the HTTPtrace, and you can see what URL and what Services or areapage is being called yes you need to have only one user id in 0105, ie this switch introduced that HCM_ESS_CE
