Summary Published to Search?

Can someone explain to me how the "Summary Published to Search" boolean is intended to work?  I believe this is an OOTB field in agreement documents.  My understanding is that this field is checked by default so the document can be searched for within a search query.  And if you were to uncheck the box, the document would not be returned in a query search.  Is that correct?  From what I am finding, this field is not having any effect on whether or not a document can be found in a query.  I am able to find the document if set to true or false (checked or unchecked).  I am misunderstanding the purpose of this field or could there be something that is not configured properly within the query definitions?

Hi Nicholas,

this is used for TREX - the Text Search that you can use (it's the top right hand corner search function). Keywords are stored and the document can be found through that particular search method.

It's not related to Query Search Results.
