Problem Encounter During SAP Installation

Hi everyone,

Looking for a big help.

I'am installing SAP Business Suite 7i 2013 Support Release 1> EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 Java Support Release 1. I will use a SQL database for this and I'am encountering error in the installation in Software Package Request from Java Component NW740 SR1 (folder JAVA_J2EE_OSINDEP_UT).

SQL 2012 is already installed and the system preparation for the SAP is already done.

Error message shown in the installation:

You entered: C:\SAP_ECC6_EHP7\export files_part1\51047885\DATA_UNITS

Unable to find a LABEL.ASC.. ( look for label SAP:UT:SR1740:*:*:*)

Hi Clint,

If you think the DVD that you download is correct, then edit LABEL.ASC with what installer is asking.

BEFORE THAT CHECK AGAIN THE DVD NUMBER.

Hi Clint,

I your DVD "51047885" dump, which you downloaded from market place is correct, then there should be a file called LABEL.ASC. If it's their and correct and edit in nodepad or VI else If it's not there re-download the DVD/dump.

I've edit the label and it works. Thank you.

Now the next step is finding this Component and I cannot locate where it is.

Hi Clint,

I still want you to check that you have downloaded and assembled the correct DVDs.

Please check SMP and relevant notes.

What is done above, is a workaround, which only works if all is fine and issue is with LABEL.ASC. However, if the DVDs that you have downloaded is incorrect then this will not work.

Please recheck again in SMP and guides for these dumps.

Hi Clint,

You problem looks more to be incorrect DVD sets rather than doing workaround with editing LABEL.ASC.

For your last requirement you need to get below DVDs

I see that RAR files is that for the SQL Database? Because when I extracted it, installer for SQL is extracted.

Have you checked this PATH for DVDs in SMP ?
