Hi there,

How can I get SBOP 1.4 to work in both excel 2010 and 2013 ON THE SAME LOCAL MACHINE. I need to keep both Excel versions (some business constraints)

Thank you beforehand

Nicolas

I have it working on my machine, with a "vanilla" (meaning no customization) installation, and no issues.

Was there something particular? I didn't do anything special on mine.

Actually I am talking about the SAP Analysis Add-In. Is working for Excel 2013 and not working for 2010. Is there something special to do to make it work for both? Something to check? It worked for both and at some point it stopped for 2010...

Thank you again

Hello Nicolae,

In Excel 2010, go to File > Options (see picture below)

Select Add-ins, Com Add-ins and click Go

Select Analysis and click OK

Then Analysis should be active in 2010

Hi Tammy,

in called Longview (formerly Khalix) for financial consolidation. Perhaps it may cause some conflicts with Analysis?

Thanks again.

I don't know anything about Longview - so maybe you are right, it does conflict, and if you need Analysis consider deactivating Longview

Hi Tammy,

One last question tough..

Did you have  first installed Excel 2010 and 2013 then on the top of these two you installed Analysis? OR it was Excel 2010 with Analysis then you installed Excel 2013?

Thank you for your help

I had Excel 2010 installed, then Analysis

Then I installed Excel 2013 - no issues

Hi Nicolas,

I had a similar issue can you confirm both versions of office are either both 32bit or both 64bit. In my case one was 32bit while the other was 64bit

Thank you. You might be right. I'll doublecheck with my user.
