DB license got expired

DB license got expired and I am unable to apply new license.I had downloaded files 67837800102000002740 from SMP  and try to apply license but was uncsuccessful.

Getting below error

'LIC1450I  The product licensed by the certificate "db2ese_c.lic" was

not found in the DB2 copy.'

Kindly help us.

Hello Arun,

LIC1450I  The product licensed by the certificate "db2ese_c.lic" was not found in the DB2 copy.

During the installation, there is an option to choose the version of DB2. The first option is the 'Advanced Enterprise Server Edition', while the second option is the 'Enterprise Server Edition'.

You will have to choose 'Enterprise Server Edition' ( which is the second on the list ). As the install has already been performed, you will have to perform a re-installation with the correct version.

You will then be able to apply the OEM license then as normal.

Note: In the case of Fix Pack 4, "DB2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition" (AESE) is in the first place. In this case, always choose "DB2.

Let me know if you have any other DB2 release, I will provide you solution accordingly.
