Satellite for Solution Manager 7.1

Hi experts,

I have the following scenario:

We got 2 DataCenters where customer systems’ are placed - (A main DC with solution manager and customer managed systems’ and another secondary DC with just customer managed systems’).

Our monitoring system is a Solution Manager 7.1 placed in the main DataCenter.

Now the solution applied for the secondary CPD is to open required ports in order to connect managed systems to  the Solution Manager in  the main Datacenter. That is ok, but we are looking for improve since it has some problems. So, is there any SM´s satellite software (or other similar stuff) that can be installed in secondary DC to collect data and push it to the main SM?

In this way, systems in secondary DC will connect and send data to the local satellite and this send the data to the SM, synchronizing with it and dealing with the general  analysis and alert generation.

Something like that... exists?

Hi

i am not sure but you can install one Gateway on the Secondary DC

and register all the systems on that Gateway . connect that Gateway to Solman in primary Dc.

you can give it a shot.
