Hi All,

I have been trying to understand the Time Mgt for last couple of days. So far I have understood the below points. Can someone please validate my understanding, If I am correct..

1.User will enter data in IT2002/2001

2.Then the Number of hours are assigned the Time type and processing type by function TIMTP using the Values from Table T555z..

3. Depending on the processing type the WT are selected from table T510s..

4. These Wage types are moved to table ZL after evaluation and then are read by Payroll during evaluation.

Hi Mohinder,

Your understanding is almost correct. Data will also come from IT2011 (clock in/clock out) from time recording system.

Since you are using TIMTP, it means you are in positive time management with time events.

In some cases, the hours worked outside planned working hours (Time Id 01) are assigned processing type M by PCR like in case of TO20. In such a scenario, the processing type is kept blank in table V_T555Z.
