Value based reporting in webi

Hi,

I have a webi report with some dimensions and measures and I have a publication on top this webi. And this publication is set to run once in a week. Now we need some change in scheduling the publication.

There is a dimension" The Flag" and it is  having two values "N" and "C" . Here is "N" means not changed and "C" means changed. I want to run the publication when that flag having value "C". If there is no records with "C", the publication should not run..

Could you please share your thoughts on this ..???

Hi Nandan,

1) You can try File Based Event option.

Need to write database script which will generate empty file at shared location when Flag="C".

You can use file based event in CMC to schedule based on that.

2) You Can also try Alerting Functionality. See below thread for detail-
