BPC MS 10 Version - Dimension processing

Hi All,

We have an issue with the dimension processing, some of the base members have CALC - "Y" property. How can we reset the CALC property at base member level in a given dimension member...

Hi Syed,

if you are sure that there are base members and not parent with CALC property equal to "Y" you have to follow this note 1879932 - BPC MS: CALC Property is set to "Y" for a BASE and Non-Formula Dimension changing manually this property setting and processing the dimension.

Yes, I'm sure it is a base members, also I did followed the SAP Note you have mentioned above and after the DB update of the CALC property, when processing the dimension, it reset again to CALC as "Y" for base level members. I tried couple of times it is the same issue..

Hi Syed,

if you have used these members in default logic with MDX style then please see this note 1653519 - How to keep CALC property of base member otherwise I think it's better to open a message to SAP because it's then probably a new bug.
