can't find funds in campaign

scenario : I create a campaign C-00000041 under the marketing plan M-00000041. I have assigned the funds plan21 to the campaign.

Question: When I try to assign funds to this campaign, there is no funds in the pop-up windows. can anyone give some information about this, thans alot

Hi!

You seem to be using the Marketing spend association level. That means you need to first set up your Mktg Spend Types (SPRO -> CRM -> Marketing -> Mktg Planning & Campaign Mgmt -> Key Figure Planning -> Define Mktg Spend Types). 

Then you will be able to a spend type and then assign a fund to it.

Unless you need a very granular spend tracking and have set up your funds that way, I would suggest using the Root level association. You will still be able to track the spend using the Expense types.

   my configuration is as following:

I don't konw what I should input in the field "Key figure".

In fact, our customer's requirments are very simple.  they would like to track the expense by expense type or partner involved:

1.track the expense by type :TV AD, printing AD etc.

2.by partner involved :ABC (Television),USA Today, AOL, google.

any solution suit the requirment 1 or 2 is appreciated. thanks.

by the way, we do not implement FICO, PS in this projcet.

And as you just mentioned, what's  Root level association? can you provide some information about it. thanks a lot.

fund 22,23 was assigned to the fund plan 21.

the fund 23 with marketing plan M-00000041,marketing og 50000584

the campaign c-00000041 match the criteria. But no funds display in the pop-up windows.
