Ordinary Depreciation Positive in Area 01

We have asset which is capitalized in current year & to be retired also in current year.

It has depreciation to be posted YTD. We have not posted depreciation.On retirement, we are getting error message "Ordinary Depreciation Positive  in Area 01??

I am unable to understand the reason for the same.

Dear Sir,

Please review the following notes and ensure they have been
implemented on your system:

1099528  AA624 retirement for area without depreciation
1133136  AA624 for retirement with revaluation
1025126  Correct error messages from new depreciation
1114392  Error messages for retirement AA 624
1091063  AA 624 issued for retirement or intracompany

There are 4 Areas you could also check to see what setting your Values YOU HAVE SET:

1 - Chart of Depreciation via
          OABN
           -> Depreciation Area
             -> Only negative values and zero allowed.

2 - Depreciation Area via
        OADB
         -> Depreciation Area
           -> Negative/Positive net book value.

3 - Asset Class via
      OAYZ
         -> Asset Class
          -> Negative/Positive values allowed

4 - Asset via
      AS02
         -> Depreciation Area
         -> Negative/Positive  values allowed
