Specify Item DTW Error - Service Contracts

Hello All,

I am having a problem with importing Service Contracts with Serial numbers. I read the thread saying there is an Invalid Item or no Item missing when I first started this process. I went ahead and got all of the items with serial numbers into Customer Equipment cards. Now I am getting the issue saying I must Specify an item.

Hi Tim,

You cannot use the DTW to amend the information on existing issue or receipt documents, as these are legal documents which create journal entries. The only way is to create additional, correcting documents, usually reversing the incorrect transactions & creating new, correct transactions.

If there are large quantities to correct, these documents can be created using DTW
