Are there plans to upgrade CPS to correspond to Cronacle 9 by Redwood?

FYI - SAP CPS version 9 is due to be release to SAP customers soon. There have been some delays with testing so the exact release data is not yet but it should be soon.
Any news on the release date for version 9?
The last i heard from SAP(a week ago) is that the release date has been pushed for several months and there is no exact date yet.
