Error During transfer Posting( Please specify an internal number range)

hello Experts,

i am getting error while doing the transfer Posting with movement type 343, (transfer posting blocked to unrestricted), during that getting error

Please specify an internal number range Message no. NR752

please suggest me where to check and what to do,

Note: I have checked in.

OMBA or OBF4 : is used to maintain number ranges for accounting documents

OMBT  :  is used to maintain number ranges for  material documents

this thread also checked.

Hello D P, check if your material is changing his "Valuation Area" o "Price Unit" in this transfer, maybe the problem isn't with the number range for material documents but yes is for accounting documents.

Hi,

   In OMBT, click on "groups" and select the group and click on "maintain" button. Now, ensure that the number range is maintained without "external" indicator as shown below:

   External number assignment for goods movements is not supported in standard. Please check the same and revert back.

What you have checked in OMBT ?

Go to OMBT, click on the overview. Check Which number range is assigned for document type WA.

Then click back and click Interval, here check this number is set as internal or not ?

Check the same thing for t-code OBF4.

i checked in T code OMBT WA document type is not maintained in Material documents for goods movements and inventory diffs.

WA Document is maintained in Lagerentnahme und Inventur( Stock taking and inventory), i got confused , where WA document type needs to maintain,

This is might be showing in different language (I am not able to understand the language).

But it is showing okay.

Have you checked the same for t-code OBF4 ?

i checked in OBF4, WA number range is maintained, don't understand why error is coming

Okay. Here you are using number range WA.

Go to FBN1, enter your company code, then check for the line item where the No = WA and year = 2014.

Check the external tick should be unticked.

Hi D P, why the current number is zero (0)? is your first document? o maybe your current number was accidental reseted and you have others documents posted with the same number document and the same year on the table MKPF?

Looking at your screenshots makes me think that they are inconsistent.

Accounting documents are posted in year 2015 (while we have 2014)

Material document number ranges are only setup till 2014. 

To be consistent I would at least create a number range for 2015 for my material documents in OMBT and see if the error vanishes after that
