Hi, What to do if the correct identifier is not getting reflected for pure substance ( hazard inducer ) in Dangerous goods data for the material

Hi,

Please assist me with the question that I have.

A pure substance is assigned as Hazard inducer in Dangerous Goods Classification property trees's VAT - HAZARD INDUCER of a Real substance against different Dangerous goods regulations, hence it has it's identifier reflecting there  but the identifier for the same Pure substance ( Hazard Inducer ) when it comes to the Dangerous Goods data for a material (assigned to Real susbatance), here for this material - against the same Dangerous Goods Regulations a different identiifer is showing here.

It's a one off case here. Even after changing the priority of the concerned identifier of CAT - NAM & TYPE - HIS/PROD to 1 & executing DGE5, the identifiers still remanis unchanged, KIndly advise as to what needs to be done here to get the correct identifier printed here ( Dangerous goods Data for the material ).

Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Regards,

Anshul

Dear Anshul

SAP is using at many places "identification listings" of different kind. E.g. for hit list, for composition/spec listing, hazard inducer etc.purposes. For DG filling in most cases a different ident listing is used. Now it depends on how do you use SAP. There is a "standard" ident. listing to be used for DG purposes; you need therefore to compare the different ident listings and may be adapt the set up.

Any SAP standard is starting with "D_" in customizing (e.g. D_HITLIST etc.):
