Error 404 showing IVIEW of WAD_TEMPLATE in EP portal

Hi,

I’m trying to create an iView on the SAP portal, based on a WAD 7.3 template.

I followed this documentation :

When trying to start (ex: preview) the IVIEW, I am getting a :      HTTP 404 error page.

Here's the properties screen of the iview:.

 

I got the same error 404 when I try to publish a template from WAD to the portal.

Hi Robin,

1. Is your portal also the BI Java or you have separate BI Java? In case your portal is the BI Java system, then try replacing the "System" in the iview properties with "SAP_LocalSystem"

2. Check if you have BI support desk tool installed on your portal.

In case you have, run the application and see if there any integration issue with BW backend,

You solved the problem for us.

BI Java and portal are on the same server. Changing the system for SAP_LocalSystem solved it.
