Hi

I´ve installed CR 2013 and I could save report 0CR_FIAA_M20_Q0007 as ZZCR_FIAA_M20_Q0007 in ZBW_REPORTS_FIAA rol.

This image show the role ZBW_REPORTS_FIAA with CR Report

Settings in /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN are:

So, When I try to publish to BO server I don´t see Roles and reports in /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN,

In BO server I´ve configured security settings to folder path with role ZBW_REPORTS_FIAA

Can you help me?

What do you think could be happening ?

Best regards

Hi Alejandro,

While defining BOE system in /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN, maintain SAP Role in Role Tab not the custom Role (Z*). Check whether Crystal Reports and queries associated with it are assigned to that SAP Role.

GoTo:

TCode: SU01, Add SAP Authenticated User's and Assign Roles of which Crystal Reports and its corresponding queries has been mapped with SAP eg: SAP Role : SAP_BW_FIN_CR.

TCode: PFCG  (Role / Menu Statistics Creation / Modification)

SAP Role: SAP_BW_FIN_CR and Customize the Menu Structure as per the Business Requirement

Hi Raji,

Your statement mentioned below is not fully correct .

" While defining BOE system in /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN, maintain SAP Role in Role Tab not the custom Role (Z*). Check whether Crystal Reports and queries associated with it are assigned to that SAP Role."

It is true that SAP Role need to be added in role tab . but its not correct what you mentioned about not the custom Role (Z*). custom role also can be added in role tab. hence Alejandro's case custom role i.e. ZBW_REPORTS_FIAA need to to be added in Content Workbench or /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN.

Hi Pinaki,

As you have stated, custom role (Z*) can be added to the Role Tab, but if you want to publish the Crystal Reports to the BO Enterprise from the Business Content Ext. then you have to go by SAP Role. I believe am not wrong, because I have implemented it and given a demo to client.

Hi  Alejandro Vale

I am also facing same issue. While defining BOE system in /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN, I am unable to maintain role in Role tab after clicking plus sign to create new entry. But it doesn't come with new row.

If you already resolved , kindly share the solution.
