SAP CATS_DA Run Time Error

Hi Friends,

We are facing issue with SAP CATS_DA Report. It is giving ABAP Run Time Error. It is running for long time and than giving run time.

When we run this report for a network 92755942 for current year it goes to run time, however, when for same network we run CADO report with same parameters, report is running instantly.

Did any one faced this issue? SAP is not responding even though we logged high priority message with them.

Hi Atul,

Try executing CATS_DA report in background.

Try to reduce the period first when executing this report. Also check if person who is approving timesheet is not in terminated status.

Hi Atul,

Also check if the network parameters for this particular network are all aligned. There is no missing configuration or enhancement which is causing the program to go into endless loop.

Your technical team should be able to guide you on this by analyzing the Short dump in ST22.

With same parameters if I give in CADO report..It gives output instantly.

Hi Atul,

It seems a memory issue during processing bulk data for the report. Check with ABAPer with ST22 dump of it. Also, analyze the parameter in error (if any) in RZ11.
