Problems with Distribution functionality in SAP BPC 10

Hi, 

We are experiencing some issues with distribution functionality.

• We’ve got a protected template (EPM – Sheet Options -> Protection -> Protect Workbook) and if we refresh the data there is no problem and it refreshes correctly.

        When the EPM – Distribution Wizard tries to generate the offline templates, this error comes up: “A problem has occurred:
               Error in Refresh Sheet”

        We need the templates to be protected as the users that have to use them, are not able to modify some data.

        How can this be resolved, keeping the template protected?

• The second problem we are facing is that when the Distribution Wizard performs an offline template and you open it, all the formulas EMPContextMember (which should be converted to this one: EPM Offline Condition), lose their references ("#VALUE!").

Could anyone help us on this?

Hi Ana,

You are talking about EPM SP 07??? It's so old that it's impossible to talk about the issues of this SP...

Current is SP 18 patch 2

Hi Ana,

Is your offline sheet still protected after being distributed? Is there any logic that gets executed in offline mode in the sheet?

We also had suffered with the same error and we solved it by refering to a note given by SAP.

Hi Ana,

Please update the excel add in to SP 18 Patch 2.

Your add in is outdated.
