Hi,

in many documents to WPB,  its described, that we can create testscripts with WPB.

can someone explain to me how i can perform tests with WPB thank you

Hi Bethy,

Unfortunately, Workforce Performance Builder is not a Test tool like HP Quality Center or eCATT.

I like to point out few advantages to use Workforce Performance Builder during the different "application" tests.

1. Automatic Generation of eCATT Test Scripts
   • When recording you simulations in SAP GUI for Windows, you can create an eCATT script, along with your training materials, for displaying test cases. The generated script is assigned to the relevant project. You can activate this setting in the central settings dialog box under Application -> Save -> Standard. You can then upload the generated eCATT scripts and add further test data.
2. Creating HP QC Documents
   • The SAP Workforce Performance Builder Producer enables you to create documents for the HP Quality Center. The benefit you derive from this is that you can define the processes you have recorded as a quality standard by importing them into the HP Quality Center, thus displaying them to everyone in your company possessing access authorization as a standard process for companywide quality assurance.
3. Test Scripts to use as Test Script for manual testing
   • This document adds a table that is suitable for testing the user's experience. It is possible to make an inquiry about actions, inputs and the expected results of the respective step. This document can be also used for user an acceptance test. An experienced Workforce Performance Builder consultant will be able to change the columns and the headers. It is also possible to create a new document which fit with all requirements from our customer.
4. Instant producer (Ipro) as an tool for documenting the tests that "Tester" has performed
   • It is quite easy, just install the Instant Producer and ask the "Tester" to start a recording from Ipro during the test. The documentations can be delivered via Workforce Performance Builder Manager , as printed out documentation or as an standalone file. When you need customized outputs please ask you Workforce Performance Builder consultant.
