Validity Period for the Training Event

Dear Gurus;

While creating the training events through Tcode OOET the end date is dimmed and set to infinity. The users are requesting to make the end date valid to change it as they create different events annually so they want to make the end date by the end of the year.

How can we achieve this.

Hi Lobna

With OOET , event type will be created but not event and this is defaulted with end date of 31.12.9999 whether you use OOET or create it using PVCT master data catalog and this is standard.

However I can see that your requirement is to create events under the event type with validity which you can create , for example event will occur from today's date till 10th of next month.

This will be based on the schedule you enter or use.

Hi Lobna,

In the standard way:

• Create the course type after that you define the course schedule. In fact, this schedule show the duration of this course type.
• In the next step when you define course date, the end that is define automatically
