Can we use SAP CPS by Redwood for managing workflow centrally?

Hello Experts,

Can we use SAP CPS by Redwood for managing workflow centrally?

In my current project we have many applications/modules (SAP & Non SAP) which have their own workflow. For example, SAP ERP has it's own workflow and moreover, we have xECM-OpenText in landscape which has it's own workflow for content management related processes/tasks. We have one more legacy application which will survive in future landscape and it also has it's own workflow.

So I want to explore feasibility of using SAP CPS by Redwood in such scenario to manage workflows centrally.

Has it been implemented for similar type of requirements?

  1. Any job that can be seen in SM37 of SAP can be run from Redwood, and
  2. Any open text job that can be run using a *.bat, *.sh or webservice or JDBC script can be run from Redwood and same goes for Legacy application.

Workflow is a broad term, if you can be specific with the activities, it may be easier to narrow down the possibilities.

One example i can think of right now, is we are running extractors in SAP and once they are done we are populating another application's Database using a python script - all using Redwood.

thanks
