Text Loading in BPC from BW

Hello Experts,

I am loading BPC Dimension using BW INFOOBJECT 0COSTCENTER. The Data manager runs successfully.

Issue:
In the dimension the text gets loaded with Infoobject name instead of the actual text as exist in BW.

In SLG1 Transaction in back end i see an message against the cost Center member that got loaded with Info object Name as follows:

Eg cost Center 100D got loaded with Infoobject Name as 0costcenter instead of the desc as in BW.

100D                             E" changed in table /B28/TO4DCK98 (with master data attribs only in version M)

Hi Mahesh,

Please take a screen shot of the issue.

Also check in your selection screen 3rd tab, that you selected the correct text.

Apart from what is suggested by Ed , please also check if your trasofrmation file has a conversion files attached

Hi Mahes,

please check at bw info object - 0costcenter have text data or not.

at SE11 check table - /BI0/tcostcenter.

Ask bw consultant whether bw team loaded text data to 0costcenter by using data source 0costcenter_text or not, if not then ask them to maintain text data.

later you can do reload 0costcenter data to BPC dimension.

The text is loaded in BW via a flat file.. It is not loaded from ECC. But text exist for the said Cost Center.

Below table have data at your BW server?

Table - /BI0/TCUSTOMER.

can you share bw and bpc data how look like now for one record.

Hi

for 8A - you have two records and system took first reocrd which was blank.

So ask bw team to manually update the text for first reord of 8A.

Later try to reload into bpc and check it.

There is a validity data. The key date i have considered in the load is todays data. So it should load the second record.

Also pls not it should not load at all.. I dont understand how it can load 0costcenter..

Hello,

1. Can you check if in the selection of data manager package you have "Import Text Node" radio button as "Yes. and the Language tab you have "Long Text" selected.

2. Can you activate the master data in BW again.

I have Import text node set as 'yes' and medium text selected.

  I have also tried activating the info Object but did not help.
