SAPBexOnRefresh Error

Hello,

we have a problem with SAP BeX 3.5 and Office 2007 SP3. We use the BeX Analyzer over a published application on a citrix xendesktop 7.5 enviroment.

We have many Excel-Workbook (non "BeX" Workbook) and we have a litte problem.

The problem does not occur at all, but you can reproduce it

1. You start a excel workbook on a fileshare

2. Click on the button "Refresh Query"

3. Logon to the Business Warehouse

4. After refresh save and close the workbook

This procedure you can do that more often, but suddenly I get the message

Workbook!SAPBeXOnRefresh is not found or the macros are disabled

You can click ok and then you must close the workook and the citrix session.

Can you help me? Have you an idea?

Best regards

Alex

Hi Alex,

Do you know if there are any client specific macros or addons installed in the excel, I have seen in the past there are customer specific addons/macors specific to custom applicationwhich are used firm wide and these are potential bottlenecks

Thanks

Hi Abhishek,

no we have no specific addons / marcos.

The excel-workbook is a normal workbook with bex queries.

Have you a other idea?

Thanks

Alex

Hi Alex,

Do you have control over the settings of the MS office setting or it is restricted by Admin, I am not sure but this looks like and Macro issue

Thanks
