evaluation of cr 2013

I have the subject installed.  My intent is to convert a CR9 pool of "canned" .rpts to something up-to-date (eg CR2013) and _recreate_ a custom query creation module which used the Set session("oApp") = Server.CreateObject("CrystalRuntime.Application.9")  as its basis. (Remember that?)

The eval copy is fine for the canned.  There's nothing complicated in those CR9 rpts.

But I can't find any doc on the API report object, here or in the CR2013 software

Can anyone here provide a link or other guidance/demos/tutorials etc?

thanks

Hi bp

The code you are showing was from the Crystal Reports Report Designer Component (RDC) that used the craxdrt.dll and crviewer.dll. This SDK was retired in version 11.5 (XI R2) of Crystal reports. And that version has been out of support for a few years now. Thus your only option is to recode the app, using either the CR SDK for .NET or CR SDK for Eclipse.

CR 2013 does not install any SDK. However, you can download the CR SDK for .NET here:

Crystal Reports for Eclipse is here:

SAP BusinessObjects - SAP Crystal Reports, Version For Eclipse Download

If you let me know which SDK you choose, I can provide more basic resources and documentation for you.
