BusinessExplorer disabled in GUI 730 installation on win8.1

Dear Experts,

While installing SAP gui 730 with business explorer on windows 8.1 showing error ".Net framework 2.0 not installed".

But system shows .Net framework 4.5 already exists. 

If any body experienced the same error kindly share your views.

Hello,

You have to install all .Net Framework.

Even if you have the latest one, you still need all previous one, special .NET Framework 2.0, where Business Explorer tools were built.

Dear Experts,

It has been done after .Net 2.0 was enabled through Control panel-->Programs & features--> Enable feature--> Check .Net3.5(consists of .Net 3.0 & 2.0).

It has to be connected to internet for downloading the updates.

What is the patch level of SAPGUI 7.30 ? if it not kindly apply the SAPGUI patch and then try to install the BI 7.x (Not on Bex 3.X)

Hi,

Is windows 8.1 supported? It is not mentioned in Note 1652769 - 730 GUI DVD - BEx tools - HW\SW requirements. Only windows 8.0.
