Filter data as per user autorisation in Bex Broacasting

Hi All,

I want to broadcast a work book to a user as per his autorization.

I add his user id to "Authrization user" field in setting page.

however it seems that system is using my autorisation to broadcast workbook.

I have google it and found one suggestion is to add user id as attribute to a charaterstic and use the user id as filter, which I think is not a viable.

1) What is that "Authorization user" field is used for

2) is there any other way we can achive such autorisation checks.

Hi,

Check the 'user specific' field check box and then enter the user ID in the user field.
