Hi,
Sometimes we have observed that when carriers are reporting events thru interfaces, the messages fail due to missing tracking code set/tracking ID as the same can be analyzed thru EVM transaction. Hence for beginners how do they tackle this issue. Is there any cross check on technical level that can be done to identify the root cause of such issues.
without Tracking id you can't post an event in EM , enable the validation in integration tool (EAI) .
Validate the tracking id in PI mapping , park the event as invalid event in PI only if tracking id is missing in sender file or web service

Can you elaborate? Do you mean the message failing outside SAP EM System or Inside SAP EM System?
