Hello
I am installing Intercompany integration solution 2.0 for SAP Business One in SBO 9.0 PL12. I installed Integration framewerk, have the several DB in the SLD, with test succesfull. I registered the addon in the databases, Installed the Intercompany integration solution scenarios. Everything ok. I also configured settings in SAP Business One with the Intercompany Initialization Wizard in all companys
I entered the Administration Console, created the Company Template for the scenario and configured the landscape (Headquarters and Branchoffice, there is no Consolidation right now) and deploy. Everything ok
In Key Mapping step, it tells me to: you must manually ensure that all master data which are replicated by the Intercompany integration solution have an equal number of records in each branch company (that is, identical records exits in each company).
If the business scenario si only Intercompany trade, what master data must i replicate ? for example, is it necesaru these in vendor groups ? discount goups ? etc as the admin guide says ?
Regards.
Hector
Hi Hector,
It depends on your discretion that what all masters/SubMasters you will be using in Intercompany trade in your environment.
So, for document cycle, it will be mandatory to maintain identical records for masters like Vendor group, Payment terms, currency etc. However, if you want to use UOM Group based Item in document cycle, then records need to be maintained for UOM group master also.
As a thumbrule, you need to maintain identical records for all the Intercompany relevant masters/sub masters that you will be using in your Intercompany environment.
As your query is quite open ended and could have multiple implications depending upon business cases. I would suggest you to get in touch with SAP LPE in your region, to ensure keymapping process sanctity.
