System not responding

Dear

i have server system at client place with 12 gb of ram some times server won't responding properly like

on mouse click also it consume 40% of cpu and some times cpu goes wrose upto 80% only 5 user are logged in i format the system 2 times and restore the backup then it runs smooth for 1 week again it started same thing i have ECC and BI installed on that system another server with same config running fine another client place from years.i don't know what the problem

help me with some procedure which i can follow

either system has problem

no problem with network connection ,...

Hi Rajendra,

Please confirm for followings:

1.OS and DB details.

2.If using windows then share event logs for analysis.

3.If using oracle as DB then follow SAP Note   712624 - High CPU consumption by Oracle

Hi Rajendra,

Check the following

1) How much RAM is assigned to DB ?

2) Check which process is consuming more system resources ?

3) Check SAP profile parameter configuration

4) Check for any other non-SAP products installed on the server and try to stop them
