How to Upload Leave Balance without running Time Evulation

Hi Expert,

Can we upload leave balance directly into IT Absence Quota without running Time Evulation with cut over date.

As our go live on 3rd sep.

Please advice quickly..

If your quotas are generated via Time Evaluation (check V_556A_B) then you have no option but to use IT2013 and then run Time Evaluation. If you are not using Time Evaluation to generate, the run the report RPQTA00 to generate quotas in 2006.

Initialize were moving with +ve TM.

But suddenly we have to shuffle into -TM.

And our system is live on 3rd SEP.

So now client want to see leave balance on Portal.

So please suggest.

Moving from +ve to -ve? Does it mean that IT0007 is changing for all? Is your new schema ready?

I already copy the TM04 Schema to ZM04.

But i am not getting, where i should incorporate those pcrs in schema.

It would be great, if you can come with suggestions.

So you have the PCRs already written in the old schema? Do you want to use the same PCR in the new schema? This should not be a problem but unless we see the PCR code it would be a problem just inserting the PCR in the new schema. Can you paste the snapshot of your PCR which generates the quotas?

Hi Rohan,

Those PCR is required to established in you ZM04 schema. Then insert it as the same like your negative time managment schema and run.

If you are getting error then please paste the error screenshot.

What are those PCR you would like to insert in the new schema. If you tell me those name with funtionality then i can tell you where you can place it in ZM04 schema.

Now please advice where i can add those pcrs in -VE TM Schema.

Here ZTES is pcr, which is used to genrate quota on the basis of Nationality, Gender and Religion.

My 1st priority is to show leave balance on portal.

So i believe it will take time to put pcrs into Schema .

But i there other way, so we can upload leave balance in IT 2006. (by LSMW or mannualy)

Bec system get live on 4th sep.

Late on we can change the configuration....

Leave balances are shown on the portal in the standard service - so I dont see a problem here. If the balances are existing in the system, then the standard reports will give you this info.

Why do you want to load in 2006? Are they not there in the first place?

Which leaves are you looking at? What is the status of these balances in V_556A_B?

How did you zero in on those PCRs? Those might be for generating the leaves. As I told you, you can use IT2013 if the leaves are being generated via Time Evaluation. Else you can directly change in IT2006 using LSMW.

As Dev pointed out, insert the PCRs in your new schema and see if it works. Keep posting your findings.

Thanks for reply.

Actually issue is:

Ist we were going to +VE TM. Then our client move to -VE TM before 7 days from Go live Date.

Now Go Live is on 4th Sep.

And client want to see Annual and Sick leave balance on Portal.

That is my problem.

So now my target is to upload Annual and Sick leave Balance.

Thats why i am trying to upload leave balance directly to 2006.

Request to you please help me to solved this problem.

Hi Rohan,

If you upload the leave balance in IT2006 then from standard system behaviour it will pick and will show in the portal.

And insert the all PCR in ZM04 as like ZM00 and you can find out not such variation is there.

Ok. For these leaves can you show me the V_556A_B entries using SM30? You can load the balances in 2006 using a LSMW but first try it out in PA30 whether you can update these leaves in 2006. Once done they will appear on the portal.

Now quota value are coming fine in IT 2006.

I create quota manually in IT 2006. It is showing properly.

But it is not displaying on Portal.

Dear Sharma,

1. Leave quota balance will be appeared in Portal based on your info type 2006.

2. To make appear absence quota in Portal we don't have separate config steps I mean just we have to do normal quota configuration.

3. Difference between Time evaluation & Without time evaluation 

Time evaluation

Where user won't update the quota for every month like monthly 2 days

Without time evaluation

User will update the quota manually based on employee wise or based on their requirement....

Hi Rohan,

Your TM is positive then you can create an another quota type which will be negative TM behaviour and through PCR move this quota balance on 30 september to your Postive time management quota type.

in the deduction rule you have to use it also for deduction purpose for the month of September2014.

Hi Rohan,

If you are using -ve time management and all quota's are in No Generation then you can directly upload in IT2006 through LSMW.
