Solution Manager 7.1

Hello Sap Gurus,

I have a problem with my solution manager 7.1 sps11. ( which was upgraded from 7.0 EHP1)

When I run the configuration for the solman_setup -> System Preparation -> step3 Specify Connectivity Data I get RABAX_STATE error

I am running this from cl000 with user solman_admin to which I have added sap_all and sap_new profiles, same under ddic user.

I have set parameters:

SAPLOCALHOSTFULL =hostname.domanin.com

SAPLOCALHOST=hostname

icm/server_port_0=PROT=HTTP,PORT=8040,TIMEOUT=1200,PROCTIMEOUT=1200 

I have read notes 1869765,1319829

517484 - Inactive services in the Internet Communication Framework

1680616 - RABAX_STATE Solman 7.1 Basic configuration step 3.1

1831404 - Short Dump OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED occurs in Self-Monitoring

but none is working.

Please advise as I have no more ideas what I should do. What other services to activate ?

Hi, Mihaela,

I had a similar problem. I followed the sap note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1988201

It helped me. I reactivated a component mentioned into section: Chosen variables

I hope it'll help you too.

Dear All,

Thank you a lot for helping and suggestions.

Implementing the note 1933506 - SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP11 - Basic functions  ( which is the central note ) solved the issue.

I was implementing all the notes written inside this note, not the 1933506 itself

Please share complete dump details and have you followed SAP notes  2002333 - SOLMAN_SETUP fails due to the error "Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible" afte...

I have run from se37 report  RS_INACTIVE_OBJECTS_LIST and no inactive objects found

Also when am trying to run Tcode LMDB I get same errror:

500 SAP Internal Server Error

ERROR: An exception has occurred (termination: RABAX_STATE)

What happened?

    The exception 'CX_LMUF_INVALID_PARAMETER' was raised, but it was not caught

     anywhere along

    the call hierarchy.

    Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not

    adequately responded to, the running ABAP program

     'CL_LMDB_SERVICE_AUTHORIZATION=CP' has to be

    terminated.

Please advise as I find no solution on all forums that I have checked so far.

Hi Mihaela,

Please don't use 000 as your standard solman client. Infact you should use copy and create a new client or use 001.

Why ?

Refer: 1630984 - Which Client Copy options to use for SAP Solution Manager to create a new Client ?

Hello Divyanshu,

There is client 001 also, same error there as well, that;s why I tried also to see if in client000 might be different due to permissions.

Do you know what services should be opened in sicf? i have already activated a bunch, but still getting error 500 and RABAX_STATE error.

Hi,

Have you applied the central correction node in 001 client and check the thread which I posted before ? Have you checked the OSS rfc.

Once done, share the full dump.
