PP/DS Detail Schedule planning board performance issue

Dear Expert

We are trying to run rescheduling function for all resources in ZBiomet in background job with /SAPAPO/CDPSB0, and consider order internal relationship in the strategy profile, but this kind of job will be cancelled,

With the following error messages:

Normally, this kind of error message means some of the resources are not included in the rescheduling run, but we have selected all resources in ZBiomet.

If we reschedule all the resources with strategy profile which doesn’t consider the order internal relationship, then this job can be completed without error, but Basically, the order internal relationship should be considered in rescheduling.

Due to this job fails, we can’t give a complete planning result to customer, Would you please further check on it why this job will be cancelled?

BTW, We’ve debugged on the program, found in FM /SAPAPO/OM_ACT_SCHEDULE if the strategy profile consider the order internal relationship, then  ET_RC will have data, and then will lead to cancel the job.

any post would be helpful for us.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Note that some issue can occur during planning with sequence-dependent setup times. Take a look of this note:

663297
- Strategy settings for planning (documentation)

As is mentioned in the Note above, with infinite scheduling and sequence-dependent setup activities, the problems described in note 445899 can occurr, check the note:

445899
- Problems in planning with sequence-dependent setup times

Please check also this note:

645719
- Processor-based setup logic

I don't know if you have 1 operation or more than one.. Either what is your current SCM version, so please take a look of those note.. hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Mariano

Dear Mariano

Thanks for your reply.

our system version is SCM 730.

yes, we do have more than one operation per order. and more than one mode per operation.

we checked your posted notes before, it is somehow generic information.

we also try to run it in background job, but met cancel issues.

any more inputs based on this specific problem, it would be really helpful for us.

Thanks a lot!

Regards

Kevin
